With the passing of Halloween, we've stepped over the threshold to the holiday season. And while there are many flavors that we associate with November and December, peppermint takes the cake.
My mother-in-law is a peppermintophile. The woman loves ALL. THINGS. PEPPERMINT. Before her favorite peppermint coffee creamer came off the "seasonal" list and was offered year-round, she would spend the 2 months it was on the shelves stocking up. Her downstairs refrigerator would, at any given time, be holding 10-20 bottles of peppermint coffee creamer.
Some people just know their flavors.
