Until We Hug Again: Hallmark Kid-Friendly Valentine's Review AND Giveaway

As we approach February, it's all about LOVE. With Valentine's Day smack dab in the middle of the month, we begin to devise special romantic plans for our significant others: candlelit dinners, surprise gifts, relaxing getaways. We line up babysitters so we can have special date nights out, stealing away for a few spark-filled hours

So...what about kids?

Valentine's Day is more than just romance. It's a chance to tell the people we love that...well...we love them!  Kids get to swap Valentine's in school ("Gross! That boy has cooties!"), but we can also take the opportunity to let the kids in our lives know we think they are pretty great.


Hallmark has a great line of kid-friendly Valentine's, perfect to let your kids (or nieces and nephews or other kids in your life) know you care. I had a chance to get a sneak peak of the products, and they so stinkin' cute:

I love these Valentine's Day Greetings for Kids. They use characters that kids know and love, with greetings that you can personalize. My kids immediately wanted to snag these for their own ("AUGHHH! TINKERBELLLLLL!"). I had to hold them at bay.

OMG. How cute are the  Special Delivery Card Presenters for Kids?  They are fuzzy little characters that have Valentine's messages tucked inside. After a child removes the valentine, he or she can keep this little friend around to store little reminders of how much they’re loved.

Then there is this little guy. The Until We Hug Again bear (it also comes as a Bunny). Miss a special child? Record your voice into a cuddly Until We Hug Again bunny or bear and they’ll be able to hear your words each time they give the plush a hug. These also make great gifts for grandparents or aunts and uncles who want to send their voice to a beloved child across the miles.

We decided to send my nephew a bear with a message. He lives a little over 2 hours away, so we don't get to see him (and snuggle him and smother him wtih kisses) as often as we'd like. So we thought he could enjoy this bear and hear our voices, even though we are far away!
