And while I am recovering (and getting back to posting), check out this REALLY awesome recipe from my sister (and fellow blogger), Melissa! Lissa is a great baker, and this fudge recipe is to DIE for. Click on the link below to be taken to the recipe via Melissa's Blog!
1/ 2 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups confectioners' sugar
Directions:
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Then, stir in the brown sugar and milk.
Bring to a boil, and boil for about two 2 minutes, stirring frequently. DO NOT leave it on longer than that, or it will burn the ingredients (trust me you can taste it in the fudge!).
Remove the saucepan from heat.
Stir in peanut butter and vanilla extract.
Pour the mixture over confectioners' sugar in a large mixing bowl. Beat until smooth.
Pour the mixture into an 8x8 inch dish. Chill until firm and cut into squares. It doesn't take to long for it to chill. I also like to drizzle extra yumminess on top! You can melt chocolate or more peanut butter or whatever you want. I found that Reese's Chocolate Peant Butter sauce works real nice with it.
